What are good vacations to take with a toddler? -

I live on the North East coast and I have a 1 yr old. Where would be a good place to go for a long weekend?

I live in the same area and my wife and I were thinking about the same thing (that s how I found your question). My daughter, 16 months, and my nephew, 9 months, went to the beach 2 days ago when I was around 80 degrees. They absolutely loved it! Rolling around in the sand, playing with buckets of water, sitting in dug out holes..etc. We re probably going to go to Hersey one day, drive back towards NY and stop in Sesame for a day and then hit up the Jersey Shore (Norther part) for another day or two (might even go to Ocean City, MD). Maybe the southern NJ beaches?
