Where is the best place to buy fireworks in Las Vegas? -

I live in Los Angeles and I am going on vacation there next June 28 through July 1st. Do they sell real fireworks like bottle rockets, firecrackers, roman candles, artillery shells etc? If not where else should I check? Do the police do car searches at the border of California and Nevada during that time? Thank you, any answers would be greatly appreciated.

There will be stands all around the neighborhoods here in Vegas selling them. They begin to open right around the end of June. No searches.

Safe and sane fireworks are sold only the week before July 4th, no soon. No roman candles, rockets, etc. They illegal in Clark County where Las Vegas is located. If you want them you have to drive to Pahrump or toward Reno and stop at the Indian Reservation. And, yes sometimes NHP watches and waits

Moapa has the best selection. It s about 35-40 mins out of Vegas, but worth the trip. It s a giant store full of everything you can imagine much better than the stands. The stands here are just like the ones in LA. Just hop on 15 North and you can t miss it. You should be ok with the cops. You will probably only be searched i you get pulled over.

any grocery store parking lot. conveinece store parking lot. many places sell them in little kiosks. they support pop warner football and other charities.
