Does your gas station charge you extra per gallon for a credit card? -

Also what county (not country) and state is it in? I notice some gas stations charge 4 cents to 15 cents per gallon if you use a debit or credit card and want to write them down for a road trip.

Yes, Rock County in MN. I know of 3 gas stations in the county that do. McDonalds also charges extra when I used a debit/credit card too. They are charged 1-3% for using the cc machine, so they charge us.

Unfortunately, most gas stations these days will charge extra for debit/credit cards. I ve noticed it all over California. And technically, they re not charging quot;morequot; for credit card usage; they get around it by saying they give a quot;discountquot; for people paying cash.

Why not just pay cash and then you don t have any extra,or even the cost of a stamp to mail your credit card payment. Then everyone is happy! Exept the bailed out credit card industry and the post office.

yep.... louisville, kentucky. jefferson county
